Stress In The Work Place VS Having No Stress

I was reading the Pittsburgh Business Times yesterday and found an article all about stress at the work place. –Written by kmamula

The article listed the top 7 causes of stress in the work place as follows
14% of people said low pay
11% said commuting
9% said unreasonable workload,
9% said fear of being fired or laid off
8% said annoying coworkers
5% annoying boss
4% lack of advancement opportunity –Source: Harris Interactive Survey Done For Everest College –Polling About 1000 U.S. Adults

It is my pleasure to share that the business concept that I work with has NONE of these things.

In my business if you are willing to do the work the sky is the limit for pay!

In my business you can work from home in your jammies, or go out to the finest restaurants to conduct business. Just imagine the time you can save from sitting in traffic.

In my business you simply help other people. You choose how much work you want to do and when. Your income is also residual and reproductive.

In my business you cannot get laid off or fired unless you do something illegal.

In my business your only boss is YOU!

Lastly, in my business the ability to advance is almost endless. You choose the work you are willing to do. If you treat this business like a business you will advance to the level you believe you deserve.

If this business concept sound interesting to you give me a call and we can set up a time to get you educated about us. Once you have the facts you can be the judge as to if this is something you feel might enhance your life.

This year’s there is “Nurses: Trusted to Care.” They want to hear about your plans to celebrate this week. They are looking for news items and bylined articles around this year’s theme.

Also, since April is Organ Donation Month, they are looking for stories and news around organ donations. If you want to submit an article or know someone else who may have an interest email the assistant to the publisher, Daniel Casciato, at writer@danielcasciato.com for the submission guidelines!

A little help with my new site Spofferz

I’m currently building a new site that’s called Spofferz.com. That stands for Special Offers with a “Z”

It’s a pretty cool site where it free for a business to add a SpOffer. Any business can register free and add one SpOffer every month. Each SpOffer will expire and be automatically deleted in 30 days from it’s posting. Merchants have the option of having their SpOffer expiring sooner, later or not at all, but in any case in order to keep our service current and accurate all SpOfferZ will be deleted in 30 days.

Our only request is that the SpOffer gives our visitors something that will make them want to try your product or service. Something of value. Self serving or strictly promotional SpOfferZ will not be considered.

We have future plans to offer an enhanced membership that will allow for more than one SpOffer at a time as well as premium placement for your SpOffer.

Visitors will be able to print SpOfferZ and take them to the merchant for redemption. Visitors will also be able to vote for the SpOfferZ of their choice and the more popular the SpOffer the higher they will move up in the search rankings. The highest ranking SpOfferZ will appear in several prominent places in our site.

Visitors can also subscribe to our RSS feeds for the entire site or any individual category. That way our visitors will know when a new SpOffer is posted in a category they are interested in.

Because Spofferz.com are a brand new site I’mvery interested in your thoughts. I want to know what you like, what you don’t like and if you have any ideas on how we can improve please add a comment and let me know what you think.

In 2004 Ms. Briney idea of a non-exclusive – no membership group was new and many people told her it just could not be done but that did not stop her determination.  Today not only has the first group been a huge success, we are now expanding to other areas.

When asked why Business Leads Exchange Networking Group LLC has been such a success Ms Briney replied:  “ Business people attend our events because they are effective, high energy and fun.  Not because they paid a yearly fee or are obligated to attend.”

Are Your Innocently Harming Your Family?

category: Promotion -

There are hidden hazards present in today’s homes that may be a
serious threat to your family’s health.  It’s called “The Toxic Brew”.
Everyday household cleaners that you use regularly are full of chemicals.
In fact, more than 72,000 synthetic chemicals have been produced since WWII!
(Create a Safe and Healthy Home , by Dr. Joyce. M. Woods, 1996).
These chemicals have their costs.  Many give off unhealthy fumes that can
irritate the eyes, nose and lungs. Do you find that you have to spray and
run from the room when cleaning your bathroom and shower because the smell
is so bad?  Some cleaners are corrosive and can harm your skin.  Do you
have to wear gloves to clean?  Are your children allowed to touch the
products?  Do you feel safe letting them help you clean?   Many leave
behind TOXIC chemical residues. Children tend to touch everything and
then put their hands in their mouths or pick up food dropped on the floor.
You know how it goes, it’s the “3 second rule” !  They may be putting
chemicals in their mouths along with their toys and food.  When you “disinfect”
their toys, are you sure it’s safe for them to put them back in their mouths?
What residue is on all the cups, bottles and dishes your family drinks from?
Small amounts may not be immediately harmful but can accumulate to cause
health problems over time.  Many products contain ingredients that are
suspected of causing cancer.  The Consumer product Safety Commission connects
150 chemicals commonly found in our homes to allergies, birth defects, cancer
and psychological disorders.  Have you been curious about the increase in A.D.D.
symptoms in children? How about the rise in asthma conditions?

DO WE REALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT?

* There are more than 3 million poisonings every year.   Household cleaners
are the #1 cause of poisonings in children and liquid dish soap is the
leading cause
* There has been a 28% increase in childhood cancer, such as leukemia,
since the addition of pesticides into household products.(Source: National
Cancer Institute)
* A 15 year study found that women who worked at home had a 54% higher death
rate from cancer than women who had jobs outside the home.  (Source: 17 year
EPA study)
* A woman’s fertility has also been negatively affected by the increased use
of chemicals.  In 1934 only 21 cases of endometriosis existed in the entire
world. Today over 5 million women have this condition, which causes infertility
in the US alone.
*In one decade, there has been a 42% increase in asthma (29% for men, 82% for
women) (Source: Center for Disease Control)

Just reducing (not eliminating) environmental carcinogens alone, would save at
least 50,000 lives from cancer annually. (Source: Dr. Lee Davis, former advisor
to the Secretary of Health)

And we wonder why we have so much illness today?
How is it that these deadly products can be on the shelves?

Manufacturers ARE NOT required to list the exact ingredients on a label.
Chemical names are often disguised by using “trade names”, so you may not
recognize the chemical for what it truly is.   Warning labels on containers
refer only to toxic hazards from ingestion, however, only 10% of health
problems from chemicals are caused by ingestion.  90% are caused by the
inhalation of vapors and absorption of particles.  (Please see the list of
Common Household Products and Their Toxic Ingredients.  You may find some of
your favorite products listed there.)

What can you do about it?

FIRST, you can get the TOXINS out of your home!  There are many safer products
on the market.   I can endorse a company*  with great confidence that has served
my family for over 7 years now.  This company can truly SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE
saving you both time and money.  It can provide you with a one stop shopping
through a catalog or online system that offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee
on over 300 products for everyday use.  Since I’ve become a preferred customer,
we’ve seen many blessings, such as great prices and products delivered to my door
(which helps out a bunch with our busy life style!) and lots of help with chores
around the house. I can feel safe when children use our cleaning products,
bathe, brush their teeth, wash their hair, eat off our dishes and generally live
in a more non-toxic home and I’m able to help other families to do the same.
My hope is that you will review the facts carefully, do the research, and
prayerfully consider the changes you may like to make to provide a safer environment
for your family as well.
NEXT, you can share this article with others or encourage them to do the research themselves.
Thee important thing is to get the word out and promote change.  If more people stop using
these harmful products, perhaps we’ll make an impact on the irresponsible
manufacturers producing them. Be proactive-your family’s health is worth it.

If you are looking for green, safe products or if you have any questions please feel free to call me – Carol Briney  412-781-8773

I can help you get informed and make a decision that is right for you.
